How to create download button in photoshop
To create a glossy download button with reflecting surface effect, follow the below mentioned steps:
1) Open a new image of white background of medium size.
2) Draw an arrow using “Custom shape tool”. The arrow should be downward pointing. If you don’t find any downward pointing arrow in custom shape tool you can draw one pointing towards right and then rotate it using menu -> image-> rotate canvas -> 900Cw. Or you can use Rectangular marquee tool to select the arrow and then using “free transform” you can rotate it.
3) Now, draw another arrow of same size but upward pointing. You can employ the above mentioned methods to make it upwards looking. If you feel problem in doing all the things on the second arrow, you can do it on a separate image and then copy it to the original one. Remember, if you have employed the rotate canvas method, then it won’t work for the second arrow on the same image; because it will rotate the whole image. If you wish to rotate the canvas, better do it on a different image and copy it to the original or simply apply the free transform in rectangular marquee tool.
4) Whatever method you employ, the image should look like the one shown below and both the two arrows must rest on different layers.
5) Now pick up the layer with downward arrow. Apply the below shown settings in blending options. Bevel and Emboss options for downward pointing arrow
6) Now pickup the layer with upward looking arrow and employ the below mentioned settings in blending options. Gradient overlay options for upward pointing arrow

Your download button is ready. Here’s the final image. It is having a reflection effect.
You can go to menu -> layer -> flatten image. Now you can crop the image. Since it is a button it should not look too big.
