Finally the court has imposed a ban on sensitive content in social media. The social networking sites ziv. facebook, google, orkut, youtube etc. are directed to remove any content which may provoke religious sentiments and social sentiments.
Contents which are provocative towards religious sentiments can be identified. But how can one identify the contents which may be provocative towards social sentiments. Again what kind of social sentiments are being talked about in the order anyway ?
It seems the order has left sufficient space for debate. This order may act as a weapon for the government in removing any content which may affect their political sentiment, blaming it as a content which may provoke social sentiment.
Many political leaders are depicted in disrespectful way in the social networking sites in the form of photos and videos. Those contents are bound to get taken off in cover of this order.
